I had the pleasure of photographing Katherine and Andrew’s wedding at Brooklake Country Club in New Jersey last month. They are such a sweet and fun-loving couple who met in Boston and fell in love. I was lucky enough to capture their pre-wedding images at Boston Park in downtown Boston, where they showed off their playful and romantic sides.
On their wedding day, Katherine looked stunning in her Pronovias wedding dress, which had a beautiful lace bodice and a flowy tulle skirt. John was equally handsome in his dark blue tuxedo, which matched his eyes perfectly. The weather was very windy that day, but that didn’t stop us from getting some amazing portraits of the bride and groom. We only needed a few minutes in three different locations: the golf course, the lake and the gazebo. The wind added some drama and movement to the photos, which I loved.
My second photographer Czaba Vamos from Hungary and the cinematographer Marek Horava did an awesome job of capturing all the details and emotions of the day. The ceremony was held outdoors under a white tent, with white flowers and greenery decorating the aisle and altar. The reception was indoors in a spacious ballroom with elegant chandeliers and windows overlooking the lake. The guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, followed by speeches, dancing and cake cutting.
The entire wedding was perfect, on time and with lots of great memories for the entire family. Katherine and John were so happy and grateful for their special day. I’m honored to have been part of it and to share some of my favorite photos with you below.
