I’m Peter, a Prague-based fine art wedding photographer. Since 2013 I’ve photographed over 400 weddings and elopements, from Prague Castle, Villa Richter and Lobkowicz Palace to chateaux like Mcely and Nimeřice. I work in English, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian and help couples from abroad plan their Prague wedding day, from the timeline to the best photo spots. I also travel for weddings across Europe.

WHY PETER RIGO PHOTOGRAPHY?
I started photographing weddings in 2013 in New Jersey and New York. Since 2018, Prague has been my home base and my favourite place to photograph weddings. From Prague Castle and the Old Town to chateaux in the Czech countryside, I’ve had the privilege of working with wedding planners and venues across Prague, and with couples from all over the world. I also photograph weddings in Budapest, Vienna and Tuscany.
I love capturing the real connection between two people, with a relaxed, down-to-earth approach and high-end shooting skills.

Getting married in Prague: FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as your date is confirmed. Spring and early autumn are the most popular seasons in Prague.
Do you photograph at chateaux outside Prague?
Yes. I regularly photograph at chateaux in the Czech countryside, such as Mcely and Nimeřice, and I travel across Europe.
Can you help with our timeline and photo locations?
Yes. Every couple gets a 1:1 planning session with me and a personalised timeline within 48 hours.
What languages do you speak?
English, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian.
When will we receive our photos?
Your first photos arrive within 48 hours, usually the next day, and your full gallery within 4 weeks of your wedding day. Albums follow 5–7 weeks after the design is approved.
Do you also offer wedding films?
Yes. Filming is available as an add-on, so your photos and film have one cohesive look.
